Homemade Cards-A Special Touch

A Homemade Card, like ones I make with my Cricut Machine, gives recipients a special feeling, they know I planned ahead for their special occasion and took the time and care to create a greeting card just for them. I have sent out many of the cards featured in this blog and I get wonderful thank you's back, expressing how nice it was to receive a beautiful and homemade card.

Chilly Mornings

This has got to be the coldest spring on record here in the northeast.  Each morning I wake up excited to finally take my morning walk outside, to see what nature is up to but again with the temperature at 29 degrees I sigh and head into my basement for some Kindle reading and treadmill time.  I am so unhappy having to exercise indoors but the colder mornings make a walk no fun for me.

On the plus side!!!   I am working on a new macrame design for a bracelet or even a belt.  It involves patterns of square knots; very easy with a complicated appearance.  Now to pick the cord colors..the fun part.

Waxed Linen is one of the "kindest" cords to work with when doing macrame; the waxed finish holds the cords in place.
